Maritza Velazquez, Financial Vice President

Maritza Velazquez a civilian for The Criminal Justice Agencydecided to join the New York City Department of Correction in 2001. Maritza was assigned to the George R, Vierno Center were she became a delegate for the Hispanic Society in 2004. In August of 2008 she was transferred to her current command, the Vernon C. Bain Center. In April of 2009 she was appointed to the Executive Board of the Hispanic Society.
